1 And I saw an angel coming down from [the] heaven, (who) having the key of the Abyss(=bottomless pit) and a great chain on his hand.

2 And he seized the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is Devil and [the] Satan, and bound him (for) a thousand years.

3 And he threw him into the Abyss(=bottomless pit), and shut (it) and sealed (it) over him, that he should not deceive the nations anymore, until the thousand years might be ended(=were ended). After these things it is necessary for him to be loosed(=he must be released) (for) a little time(=while).

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And (I saw) the souls of the ones having been beheaded because of the testimony of Jesus and because of the word of [the] God, and who did not worship the beast or his image, and did not receive the mark on the forehead and(=or) on their hand. And they lived(=came to life) and reigned with [the] Christ (for) a thousand years.

5 The rest of the dead did not live(=come to life) until the thousand years might be ended(=were ended). This (is) the first resurrection.

6 Blessed and holy (is) the one having part in the first resurrection. The second death has no authority over them, but they will be priests of [the] God and of Christ, and will reign with him a thousand years.

7 And when the thousand years might be ended(=are ended), [the] Satan will be released from his prison,

8 and he will go out to deceive the nations (which are) in the four corners of the earth, the Gog and Magog, to gather them for the battle, whose number [of them] (is) as the sand of the sea.

9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and surrounded the camp of the saints and the city having been loved. And fire came down from [the] heaven and devoured them.

10 And the devil deceiving them was thrown into the lake of [the] fire and sulfur, where both the beast and the false prophet (are). And they will be tormented day and night unto the ages of the ages(=for ever and ever).

11 And I saw a great white throne and the One sitting on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled, and there was found no place (for) them.

12 And I saw the dead, [the] great and [the] small, standing(# perfect as present) before the throne. And books were opened. And another book was opened, which is (the book) of life. And the dead were judged from(=by) the things having been written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead in it, and [the] death and [the] Hades gave up the dead in them. And they were judged, each one according to their works.

14 And the death and the Hades were thrown into the lake of [the] fire. This is the second death, the lake of [the] fire.

15 And if anyone was not found [having been] written in the book of [the] life, he was thrown into the lake of [the] fire.
