And working together, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God to empty(=in vain).
For He says, “(In) an acceptable time I heard you, and in (the) day of salvation I helped you.” Behold now (is the) acceptable time; behold, now (is the) day of salvation.
Giving no obstacle in anything, so that the(=our) ministry might(=may) not be blamed,
but in everything commending ourselves as ministers of God: in great endurance, in afflictions, in needs, in distresses,
in beatings, in imprisonments, in riots, in labors, in sleeplessness, in fastings;
in purity, in knowledge, in long-patience, in kindness, in (the) Holy Spirit, in sincere love,
in (the) word of truth, in (the) power of God; through the weapons of righteousness (in) the right (hands) and (in) the left,
through glory and dishonor, through ill repute and good repute; as deceivers, and yet true;
as (the ones) being unknown, and yet (the ones) being well known; as dying ones, and behold we live; as (the ones) being punished, and yet (the ones) not being killed;
as (the ones) being sorrowful, yet always rejoicing (ones); as poor, yet (the ones) making many rich; as (the ones) having nothing, and yet (the ones) possessing all things.
Our mouth has been open to you, Corinthians; our heart has been widened.
You are not restricted in(=by) us, but you are restricted in(=by) your bowels(=affections).
And (for) the same recompense – I speak as to children – you also be open.
Do not be unequally yoked (with) unbelievers. For what partnership (is there between) righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship to light (can do) with darkness?
And what harmony of Christ (can be) with Belial? Or what portion (belonging) to a believer (can be shared) with an unbeliever?
And what agreement (belonging to the) temple of God (can be) with idols? For we are (the) temple of (the) living God. As [the] God said, “[that] I will dwell among them, and I will walk among (them), and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”
“Therefore, come out from among them, and be separate (from them), says the Lord. And do not touch unclean thing, and I will welcome you,”
“And I will be (to) you [for] a Father, and you will be to me [for] sons and daughters, says (the) Lord Almighty.”
