(=alt.word) · (added word) · [omit]
For we know that if our earthly house of(=with) tent might be(=is) destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in [the] heavens.
For in this (tent) indeed we groan, longing to be clothed our dwelling from heaven.
If indeed having been clothed, we shall not be found naked.
For we (who are) being in the tent groan, being burdened, because we do not want to be unclothed but to be clothed, so that the mortality might(=may) be swallowed up by [the] life.
And the One having prepared us for this very thing (is) God having given(=who has given) us the guarantee of the Spirit.
So being always confident and knowing(#perfect as present) that we, being at home in the body, are away from the Lord.
For we walk(=live) through(=by) faith, not through(=by) sight.
And we are confident, and we would rather [to] be away from the body and be at home to(=with) the Lord.
And so we make it our ambition, whether being at home or being away, to be pleasing to him.
For it is necessary for us all to appear(=we must all appear) before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one might(=may) receive the things (done) through the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
Therefore, knowing(#perfect as present) the fear of the Lord, we persuade men. But we are well known to God, and I also hope to be well known(=it is well known) in your consciences.
We do not commend ourselves again to you, but giving(=give) you opportunity of boast(=to boast) on our behalf, so that you may have (an answer) for the ones boasting in face(=in appearance) and not in heart.
For if we are beside ourselves, (it is) for God; or if we are in our right mind, (it is) for you.
For the love of Christ compels us, (who) having judged this, that One died for all, then all died.
And he died for all, so that the ones living(=who live) may(=should) no longer live for themselves but for the One having died for them and having been raised.
So, from [the] now on, we know no one according to (the) flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to (the) flesh, yet now we know (him thus) no longer.
So if anyone (is) in Christ, (he is) a new creation; the old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new.
And all things (are) from [the] God having reconciled us to Himself through Christ and having given us the ministry of reconciliation,
that is, that God was in Christ reconciling (the) world to Himself, not counting their trespasses to(=against) them, and having placed in us(=having committed to us) the word of reconciliation.
Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as God’s appealing(=as though God were pleading)1 through us. We beg (you) on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to [the] God.
He made the One having not known sin (to be) sin for us, so that we might become (the) righteousness of God in him.
