And it happened in Iconium (for) them to enter together into the synagogue of the Jews, and to speak so, as for a great multitude both of Jews and of Greeks to believe.
But the Jews having been unpersuaded stirred up and poisoned the minds of the Gentiles against the brothers.
Therefore, they stayed for a considerable time, speaking boldly on(=in) the Lord, (who is) witnessing to the word of his grace, and (who is) giving signs and wonders to happen through their hands.
But the multitude of the city was divided. Some were with the Jews, and others with the apostles.
And when there was a attack of the Gentiles and Jews with their rulers to mistreat and to stone them,
having known, they escaped to the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra and Derbe and the surrounding country.
And there they were evangelizing(=preaching the good news).
And (there) was sitting a certain man in Lystra, (being) unable in the feet(#dative of respect), lame from (the) womb of his mother, who had never walked.
This (man) was hearing Paul’s speaking, (Paul) who (was) having gazed at him and having seen that he has(=had) faith to be healed.
He said (with) a loud voice, “Stand up on your feet straightly.” And he leaped and was walking.
And the crowds, having seen what Paul did, raised their voice, saying (in) Lycaonian language, “The gods made like men came down to us.”
And they were calling Barnabas, Zeus, and Pual, Hermes, because he was the chief speaker.
And the priest of Zeus being before the city, having brought bulls and garlands to the gates, was wishing to sacrifice with the crowds.
But having heard, the apostles Barnabas and Paul, having torn their garments, rushed out into the crowd, shouting,
and saying, “Men, Why do you do these things? We also are men of like nature to(=with) you, evangelizing you to turn from these vain things to living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all things in them,”
“who in the generations having passed(#reference of time) allowed all nations to go in their ways.”
“And He left not Himself unwitnessed(=without witnessed), doing good, giving to us from heaven rain and fruitful seasons, and filling our hearts of(=with) food and gladness.”
And saying these things, they scarcely restrained the crowds not to sacrifice to them.
And Jews from Antioch and Iconium came, having persuaded the crowds, having stoned [the] Paul, were dragging outside the city, supposing him to have died.
But the disciples’ having surrounded him(=when the disciples encircled him)1, having risen up, he entered into the city. And on the next day he went out with Barnabas to Derbe.
And evangelizing that city, and having made many disciples, they returned to Lystra and to Iconium and to Antioch.
Confirming the minds of the disciples, exhorting to remain (in) the faith, [and] (they said) “[that] Through many persecutions it is necessary for us to enter into the kingdom of God.”
And having appointed elders for them in every church, having prayed with fastings, they committed them to the Lord in whom they had believed.
And having passed through [the] Pisidia, they came to [the] Pamphylia.
And having spoken in [the] Perga the word, they came down to Attalia,
and from there they sailed away to Antioch, where they had been commended to the grace of [the] God for the work which they had completed.
And having arrived, and having assembled the church, they were reporting all that [the] God did with them, and that He(=God) opened door of faith to the Gentiles.
And they were staying with the disciples (for) not a little(=a long) time.
