1 Peter and John were going up to the temple at the hour of the prayer, the ninth (hour).

2 And a certain man being lame from his mother’s womb was being carried, whom they were putting day by day at the door of the temple being called “Beautiful” in order to ask (# gen article with inf.: purpose) alms from the ones entering into the temple,

3 who, having seen Peter and John being about to go into the temple, was asking to receive alms.

4 Having looked intently at him with John, Peter said, “Look at us!”

5 And he was paying attention to them, expecting to receive something from them.

6 And Peter said. “Silver and gold is not to me. But I give (to) you this, what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, walk!”

7 And having seized him by the right hand, he raised him. And immediately his feet and ankles were made firm.

8 And jumping up, he stood, and was walking, and entered with them into the temple, walking and leaping and praising God.

9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God.

10 And they were recognizing him that this (man) was the one sitting for alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. And they were filled of wander and amazement at the thing having happened to him.

11 And his holding(=as he was holding)1 Peter and John, all the people greatly amazed ran together to them at the porch being called “(porch) of Solomon.”

12 And having seen, Peter answered(# liquid verb) to the people. “Men of Israelites! Why do you amaze at this? Or why do you gaze at us, as having made(# perfect ptc.) him walk by (our) own power or piety.”

13 “God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers glorified his servant Jesus, whom you delivered and denied in (the) presence of Pilate, that one’s having decided(=when he decided)2 to release (him).”

14 “You denied the holy and righteous one, and asked a man of murderer to be granted to you.”

15 “And you killed(# liquid verb) the founder of life, whom God raised(# liquid verb) from (the) dead, of whom we are witnesses.”

16 “And by the faith of(=in) his name, this man whom you see and know, (whom) his name made firm, and the faith through him gave him this wholeness before you all.”

17 “And now, brothers, I know that in ignorance you acted, as (did) also your rulers.”

18 “But God fulfilled thus the things which he foretold through (the) mouth of all prophets, (for) his Christ to suffer(# ref. future).”

19 “Repent, therefore, and turn in order for your sins to be wiped away,”

20 “so that (the) times of relief may come from (the) presence of the Lord, and he may send (to) you Christ Jesus having been appointed,”

21 “whom it is necessary for (the) heaven to receive until (the) times of restoration of all things, of which(=times) God spoke through (the) mouth of his holy prophets from (the) age.”

22 “Moses indeed said, ‘(The) Lord your God will raise up a prophet for you from your brothers like me. You shall hear him in all things whatsoever he may speak (to) you.’”

23 “And it shall be that every soul(=person)3 whoever might not hear that prophet will be completely destroyed among the people.”

24 “And all the prophets from Samuel and the ones in succession, as many as have spoken, have also announced these days.”

25 “You are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant which God made with your fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your seed shall be blessed all the families of the earth.”

26 “Unto you firstly God, having raised his child, sent him blessing(=to bless) you in each one to turn away(=by turning each one away) from your iniquities.”
