1 In which things(=Meanwhile), the many thousands of the crowd’s having been brought together(=when so many thousands of the crowd had gathered together)1, so as to tread on(=so that they trampled on) one another, he began to say to his disciples first, “Beware, for yourselves, from(=of) the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.”
2 “And there is nothing having been covered that will not be uncovered(=revealed), and (there is no) hidden thing that will not beknown.”
3 “Therefore whatsoever you have said in the darkness will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken(=whispered) to(=in) the ear in the private rooms will be proclaimed on the roofs.”
4 “And I say (to) you, my friends, do not be afraid from(=of) the ones killing the body and having, after these things, no more what to do.”
5 “But I will show you whom you may(=should) fear: Fear the One (who), after to kill(=killing), having(=has) authority to throw into [the] hell. Yes, I say (to) you, fear this.”
6 “Are not five sparrows sold (for) two pennies? And not one of them is [having been] forgotten before [the] God.”
7 “But even the hairs of your head have been all numbered. Fear not; you differ from(=are worth more than) many sparrows.”
8 “And I say (to) you, whoever [might] acknowledges [in] me before [the] men, and the Son of Man will acknowledge [in] him before the angels of God.”
9 And the one having denied me before [the] men will be denied before the angels of God.“
10 “And everyone who will speak(=speaks) a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him. But to the one having blasphemed against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven.”
11 “And when they may bring you before [the] synagogues and [the] rulers and [the] authorities, do not worry how or what you might(=will) defend or what you might(=will) say;”
12 “for the Holy Spirit will teach you in(=at) the same time what you ought to say.”
13 And one of the crowd said (to) him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.”
14 And he said (to) him, “Man, who appointed me a judge or a divider over you?”
15 And he said (to) them, “Beware and guard from(=against) all covetousness; for his life is not in the to abound(=abundance) [to anyone] from(=of) belongings to him.”
16 And he said a parable to them, saying, “The land of a certain rich man produced plentifully.”
17 “And he dialogued(=thought) in(=to) himself, saying, ‘What shall I do? for I have no (place) where I will store my crops.’”
18 “And he said, ‘I will do this, I will pull down my barns and I will build larger ones, and I will store there all my grain and my goods.’”
19 “And I will say to my soul, ‘Soul, you have many goods being laid up for many years. Take rest, eat, drink, (and) be merry.’”
20 “But [the] God said (to) him, ‘Fool! This night they(# impersonal pronoun to avoid God’s name) demand your soul from you. And the things that you have prepared, to whom will they be?”
21 “So (is) the one treasuring up for himself and not being rich toward God.”
22 And he said (to) his disciples, “Therefore I say (to) you, do not worry (about your) life, what you might(=will) eat, nor (about your) body what you might(=will) wear,”
23 “for [the] life is more (than) food, and the body (is more than) clothing.”
24 “Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, to which neither storeroom nor barn is not, and [the] God feeds them. How much more do you differ from(=valuable are you than) the birds!”
25 “And who of you (by worrying) is able to add a cubit on(=to) his stature(=life)?”
26 “If then you cannot do (the) least, why do you worry about the rest?”
27 “Consider the lilies, how it(=they) grow. It(=they) neither labor nor spin. But I say (to) you, (even) Solomon in all his glory did not put on himself like one of these.”
28 “And if [the] God so clothes the grass in (the) field, (which) being(=is) today and tomorrow being thrown(=is thrown) into (the) oven, how much more (will he clothe) you, O you of little faith!”
29 “And [you] do not seek what you might(=will) eat and what you might(=will) drink, and do not be in suspense,”
30 “for all these things do the nations of the world seek after, but your Father knows(# perfect as present) that you need these.”
31 “But seek his kingdom, and these things will be added to you.”
32 “Do not fear, the little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.”
33 “Sell your belongings and give alms. Make(=Provide) (for) yourselves purses not being made old(=wearing out), the treasure in [the] heaven unfailing(=that does not fail), where no thief comes near nor moth destroys.”
34 “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
35 “Let your loins having been girded(=be girded) and the lamps burning,”
36 “and [you] be like men waiting for their master, when he might(=will) return from the wedding feasts, so that, (his) having come and knocked(=when he comes and knocks)2, immediately they might(=can) open to him.”
37 “Blessed (are) those slaves, whom the master, having come, will find (them) watching. Truly I say (to) you that he will gird himself and make them recline(=sit at table), and he, having come up, will serve them.”
38 “And if he [might] comes in the second and if(=or) in the third watch, and he [might] finds so, blessed are those (slaves).”
39 “But know this, that if the householder had known at what hour the thief comes, he would not allowed to be dug through(=to be broken into) his house.”
40 “You also (must) be ready, for at an hour (that) you do not expect the Son of Man (will) come.”
41 And [the] Peter said, “Lord, are you saying this parable to us or even to all?”
42 And the Lord said, “Who then is the faithful and wise steward, whom the master will appoint(=will make manager) over his household, to give (them their) potion of food in season(=at the proper time)?”
43 “Blessed (is) that slave, whom his master, having come, will find doing so.”
44 “Truly I say (to) you that he will appoint him(=will make manager him) over his all belongings.
45 “But if that slave [might] says in his heart, my master is delaying to come(=in coming), and [might] begins to beat the menservants and the maidservants, and to eat and drink and get drunk,”
46 “the master of that slave will come in(=on) a day in which(=when) he does not expect and in(=at) an hour he does not know, and will cut in two(=will punish) him, and he will put(=appoint) his portion with the unbelievers.”
47 “And that slave, having known(=who knew) his master’s will and not having prepared or done(=and who did not prepared and act) according to his will, will be beaten (with) many (blows).”
48 “But the one, not having known(=who did not know) but having done(=who has done) things worthy(=deserving) of stripes(=beating), will be beaten (with) few (blows). But (from) everyone to whom much is given, much will be demanded from him. And (from the one) to whom much has been entrusted, they will ask him (the) more.”
49 “I have come to cast fire upon the earth, and how I wish [if] it were already kindled.”
50 “And I have a baptism to be baptized (with), and how distressed I am until it [might] is completed!”
51 “Do you think that I have come to give peace in(=on) [the] earth? No, I say (to) you, but rather division,”
52 “for, from [the] now, there will be five in one house [having been] divided, three against two and two against three.”
53 “They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against the daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against the mother-in-law.”
54 And he also was saying to the crowds, “When you [might] see a cloud rising over(=in the) west, immediately you say, ‘[that] A shower is coming’; and so it happens.”
55 “And when (you see) blowing (the) south (wind), you say ‘[that] There will be scorching heat’; and (so) it happens.”
56 “Hypocrites! You know to discern the face of the earth and of the sky; but how do you not know to discern this time?”
57 “And why do you not judge [even] for yourselves the righteous thing?”
58 “For as you go with your adversary to (the) magistrate, give business(=do your best)3 to be rid from(=of)(=to settle) him on the way, lest he might(=may) drag you to the judge, and the judge [will] deliver you to the officer and the officer [will] throw you into prison.”
59 “I say (to) you, you might(=will) never come out from there until you might(=have) paid the very last lepton(=penny).”
