(=alt.word)  ·  (added word)  ·  [omit]

And after these things, the Lord appointed seventy others, and sent them two by two before his face(=ahead of him) into every city and place where he was about to go.

And he was saying to them, “Indeed the harvest (is) plentiful, but the workers (are) few; therefore ask the Lord of harvest that he would send out workers into his harvest.”

“Go, behold, I send you as lambs in (the) midst of wolves.”

“Do not carry a purse, nor bag, nor sandals. And greet no one by(=on) the road.”

“And into whatever house you [might] enter, first say, ‘Peace (be) to this house.’”

“And if a son of peace [may] be there, your peace will rest upon him; but if not, it will return upon(=to) you.”

“And stay in the same house, eating and drinking the things with them, for the worker (is) worthy of his wage. Do not move about from house to house.”

“And into whatever city you [may] enter and they [may] receive you, eat the things being set before you.”

“And heal the sick in it, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near on(=to) you.’”

“And into whatever city you [might] enter and they may(=do) not receive you, having gone into its streets, you say,”

“Even the dust from(=of) your city having been adhered to us(=our) feet, we wipe off (against) you; nevertheless know this, that the kingdom of God has come near.”

“I say (to) you that it will be more tolerable in(=on) that day for Sodom (than) for that city.”

“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works having been done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.”

“Nevertheless(=But) it will be more tolerable in the judgment for Tyre and Sidon (than) for you.”

“And you, Capernaum, will [not](# expecting the answer ‘No’) you be exalted to heaven? (No,) you will go down to (the) Hades.”

“The one hearing you hears me, and the one rejecting you rejects me. And the one rejecting me rejects the one having sent me.”

And the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subjected(=subject) to us in your name!”

And he said (to) them, “I was watching [the] Satan having fallen(=fall)1 like lightning from heaven.”

“Behold, I have given you the authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and on(=over) all the power of the enemy, and nothing might(=will) hurt you.”

“Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subjected(=subject) to you; but rejoice that your names have been written in [the] heavens.”

In the same hour he rejoiced (in) the Holy Spirit, and said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and [the] earth because you have hidden these things from (the) wise and (the) intelligent, and you have revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, for such was good pleasure before you.”

“All things were delivered to me by my Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and (no one knows) who the Father is except the Son and (those) to whom the Son [might] wills(=chooses) to reveal.”

And having turned to the disciples, he said privately, “Blessed (are) the eyes seeing what you see.”

“For I say (to) you that many prophets and kings desired to see what you see, and(=but) did not see, and to hear what you hear, and(=but) did not hear.”

“And behold, a certain lawyer stood up, testing him, saying, ‘Teacher, what shall I doing(=do) (to) inherit eternal life?’”

And he said (to) him, “What has been(=is) written in the law? How do you read?”

And he, having answered, said, “You shall love (the) Lord your God from(=with) all your heart and in(=with) all your soul and in(=with) all your strength and in(=with) all your mind; and (you shall love) your neighbor as yourself.”

And he said (to) him, “You have answered rightly. Do this and you will live.”

And he, willing to justify himself, said (to) [the] Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”

Having replied, [the] Jesus said, “A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell (among) robbers, who, having stripped him and having laid blows on (him)(=having beaten him), went away, having left him half dead.”

“And by chance a certain priest was going down [in] that road, and he, having seen him, passed by on the other side.”

“And likewise a Levite also, having come to the place and having seen, passed by on the other side.”

“And a certain Samaritan, travelling, came to him(=the same place) and he, having seen, had compassion.”

“And having approached, he bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. And having put him on the(=his) own beast, he took him to an inn and took care of him.”

“And [on] the tomorrow(=the next day), having taken out two denarii, he gave (them) to the innkeeper, and said, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you [might] spend, in the me to come back(=when I come back), I will repay you.’”

“Which of these three, does it seem to you(=you think), to have been(=was) a neighbor of(=to) the one having fallen among the robbers?”

And he said, “The one having done(=showed) [the] mercy with(=on) him.” And [the] Jesus said (to) him, “Go and do likewise.”

And in the them to go(=as they went), he entered into a certain village. And a certain woman, Martha by name, received him into the(=her) house.

And to her there was a sister being called Mary, who also, having sat at the Lord’s feet, was listening (to) his word.

And [the] Martha was being distracted with much serving. And having come up (to him), she said, “Lord, isn’t it a care to you(=do you not care) that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore, tell her that she could help me(=to help me)!”

And having answered, the Lord said (to) her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and you are upset about many things.”

“But one thing is need(=needed), for Mary chose the good part, which will not be taken away from her.”
