1 And his coming(=when he comes)1 out of the temple, one of his disciples says (to) him, “Teacher, behold, what great stones and how great buildings!”

2 And Jesus said (to) him, “Do you see these grand buildings? Not one stone here might(=will) be left upon (another) stone, which might(=will) be thrown down.”

3 And his sitting(=when he sat)2 on the mount of the olives opposite the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew were asking him privately,

4 “Tell us, when will these things be, and what (will be) the sign when all these things are about to be accomplished?”

5 And Jesus began to say (to) them, “Beware (that) no one [might] deceives you.”

6 “Many will come on my name, saying, ‘I am (He),’ and they will deceive many.”

7 “And when you [might] hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled. It(=Such things) ought to happen, but the end (is) not yet.”

8 “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom (will rise) against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in (various) places. There will be famines. These things (are) beginning of birth-pang.”

9 “And look you to yourselves(=watch out for yourselves). They will deliver you up to councils, and in synagogues you will be beaten. And before rulers and kings, you will stand for my sake, for a testimony (to) them.”

10 “And to all nations, first, the gospel ought to be proclaimed.”

11 “And when they [may] lead you, delivering, do not worry beforehand what you might(=will) speak. But whatever [might] is given (to) you in that hour, speak that, for you are not who speaking(=it is not you speaking), but the Holy Spirit.”

12 “And brother will deliver up brother to death, and a father (will deliver up his) child (to death). And children will rise against parents and will have them put to death.”

13 “And you will be being hated(=will be hated)3 by all because of my name. But the one having endured to (the) end, this(=the same) will be saved.”

14 “But when you [might] see ‘the abomination of desolation’ having stood(=standing)4 where it ought not (to be), - let the one reading understand - then let the ones in [the] Judea flee to the mountains.”

15 “Let the one on the housetop not go down, nor enter to take anything from his house.”

16 “And let the one in the field not turn back to take his coat.”

17 “But woe to the ones having (child) in womb and to the ones nursing (infants) in those days.”

18 “But pray that it might not happen (in) winter(# genitive of time).”

19 “For those will be days of tribulation, such as has not been from (the) beginning of (the) creation that [the] God created until [the] now, and never will be.”

20 “And unless (the) Lord (had) shortened the days, all flesh would not be saved. But for the sake of the elect, whom he chose, he shortened the days.”

21 “And then if anyone [might] says (to) you, ‘Look, here (is) the Christ!’ (or) ‘Look, there (he is)!’ do not believe (it).”

22 “For [and] false Christs and false prophets will rise, and they will give signs and wonders to the(=in order to) deceive, if possible, the elect.”

23 “But you, take heed! I have foretold you all things.”

24 “But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give her(=its) light.”

25 “And the stars will be falling(=will fall)5 from the heaven. And the powers in the heavens will be shaken.”

26 “And then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with much power and glory.”

27 “And then he will send the angels, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from (the) end of (the) earth to (the) end of heaven.”

28 “And from the fig-tree learn the parable: When now her(=its) branch [might] becomes tender, and [may] puts forth the leaves, you know that the summer is near.”

29 “Even so, when you [might] see these things happening, you know that it(=he) is near at door.”

30 “Truly I say (to) you that this generation might(=will) not passes away until all these things [might] happen.”

31[The] Heaven and [the] earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.”

32 “But about that day or the hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, if not(=but only) the Father.”

33 “Take heed! be awake(=be alert)! For you don’t know when the time is.”

34(It is) like a man, away on a journey, (who), having left away from his house and having given the authority (to) his servants, to each one his work, [and] commanded the doorkeeper that he may watch(=to watch).”

35 “Watch, therefore. For you don’t know when the lord of the house comes, either late(=whether in the evening), or (at) midnight, or (at) rooster-crowing, or early(=in the morning).”

36 “Lest, having come suddenly, he [might] find you sleeping.”

37 “And what I say (to) you, I say (to) all: Watch!”
