1 And he was saying (to) them, “Truly I tell you that there are some of the ones standing here who might(=will) not taste death until they [might] see the kingdom of God having come(=come) with power.”
2 And after six days [the] Jesus takes [the] Peter, [and the] James, and [the] John, and leads them up into a high mountain apart privately(=by themselves). And he was transfigured before them.
3 And his garments became shining, exceeding white, such as no fuller on [the] earth is able to whiten (them).
4 And Elijah appeared to them with Moses. And they were talking (with) Jesus.
5 And [the] Peter, having answered, says (to) Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. And let us make three tabernacles, one (for) you, and one (for) Moses, and one (for) Elijah.”
6 For he had not known(=did not know)1 what he might answer(=what to answer). For they became terrified.
7 And there was a cloud overshadowing them, and there was a voice from the cloud, “This is my beloved son. Hear him.”
8 And suddenly having looked around, they saw no one anymore, but only Jesus with themselves.
9 And their coming down(=as they were coming down)2 from the mountain, he ordered them that they should recount(=tell) no one what they saw(=had seen), except when(=until) the Son of Man might rise(=had risen) from (the) dead.
10 And they held(=kept) the word(=matter) to themselves, questioning(=discussing) what the to rise(=the rising) from the dead is(=meant).
11 And they were asking him, saying, “Why do the scribes say that it is necessary for Elijah to come(=Elijah must come) first?”
12 And he was saying (to) them, “Indeed Elijah, having come first, restores all things. And how (is) it [has been] written about the Son of Man, that he should suffer many things and be despised?”
13 “But I say (to) you, ‘[that] Elijah has also come. And they did to him whatever they were willing(=wanted), as it has been written about him.’”
14 And having come to the disciples, they saw a great crowd around them and scribes arguing with them.
15 And all the crowd, immediately having seen him, were greatly amazed. And running, they were greeting him.
16 And he asked them, “What are you arguing with them?”
17 And one of the crowd answered him, “Teacher, I brought [to] you my son having a dumb spirit.”
18 “And wherever it [might] seizes him, it dashes him down. And he foams, and grinds the(=his) teeth, and becomes rigid. And I spoke your disciples that they should cast it out. And they could not.”
19 And having answered them, he says. “O faithless generation. Until when(=How long) shall I be with you? Until when(=How long) shall I endure you? Bring him to me.”
20 And they brought him to him. And having seen him, the spirit immediately convulsed him. And having fallen on the earth, he was rolling, foaming.
21 And he asked his father, “How much time(=How long) is it since this [has] happened to him?” And he said, “From childhood.”
22 “And often both into fire and into waters it threw him so that it might destroy him. But If you can do anything, help us, having compassion on us.”
23 And Jesus said (to) him, “If you can! All things (are) possible to the one believing.”
24 Immediately having cried out, the father of the child was saying, “I believe. Help my unbelief.”
25 And having seen that a crowd is running together, [the] Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, saying (to) it, “Dumb and deaf spirit! I command you, come out of him, and no more [might] enter into him.”
26 And having cried out and having convulsed (him) much(=terribly), it came out. And he became as (one) dead, so as the many to say(=so that many said), “[that] He is dead.”
27 But having taken him by the hand, [the] Jesus lifted him up. And he stood up.
28 And his having come(=when he had come)3 into a house, his disciples were asking him privately, “Why were we not able to cast it out?”
29 And he said (to) them, “This kind is able to come out by nothing except(=but) by prayer.”
30 And having gone out(=after they went on) from there, they were passing through [the] Galilee. And he was not willing(=did not want) that anyone might know(=anyone to know).
31 For he was teaching his disciples. And he was saying (to) them, “[that] The Son of Man is delivered(=betrayed) into the hands of men, and they will kill him. And having been killed, after three days, he will rise.”
32 But they were not knowing(=did not understand) the saying, and were [being] afraid to ask him.
33 And they came to Capernaum. And having been in the house, he was asking them, “What were you arguing about on the way?”
34 And they were being silent(=kept silent). For on the way they (had) argued with one another who (was) greater(=the greatest).
35 And having sat down, he called the twelve. And he says (to) them, “If anyone wants to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.”
36 And having taken a child, he had him stand in (the) midst of them. And having embraced him(=having taken him in his arms), he said (to) them,
37 “Whoever [might] receives one of these children in my name receives me. And whoever receives me does not receive me but the One having sent me.”
38 [The] John was saying (to) him, “Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in your name. And we were forbidding(=tried to stop) him, because he was not following us.”
39 And [the] Jesus said, “Do not forbid him. For no one who shall do(=does) power(=a mighty work) on(=in) my name [and] will be able quickly(=soon afterward) to speak evil of me.”
40 “For he who is not against us is for us.”
41 “For whoever [might] gives you a cup of water to drink in (my) name, because you are of Christ(=belong to Christ), truly I say (to) you, that he might(=will) by no means lose his reward.”
42 “And whoever [might] causes one of these little ones (who are) believing in me to stumble, it is(=would be) better (for) him if donkey’s millstone(=a great millstone) is(=were) hanged around his neck, and he had been(=were) thrown into the sea.”
43 “And if your hand [may] causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better (for) you to enter into [the] life maimed than (for you) having two hands to go into the Gehenna(=hell), into the unquenchable fire.”
44 (where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.)
45 “And if your foot [may] causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better (for) you to enter into [the] life lame than (for you) having two feet to be thrown into Gehenna(=hell).”

47 “And if your eye [may] causes you to stumble, pluck it out. It is better (for) you to enter into the kingdom of God (with) one eye than (for you) having two eyes to be thrown into Gehenna(=hell),”
48 “where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.”
49 “For everyone shall be salted (with) fire. (And every sacrifice will be salted (with) salt)”
50 “[The] Salt (is) good. But if the salt [might] becomes saltless, by what(=how) will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another.”
