Then Pharisees and scribes from Jerusalem come to Jesus, saying,
“Why do your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash the(=their) hands when they [may] eat bread.”
And having answered, he said (to) them, “Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition?”
For [the] God said, “Honor the father and the mother” and “The one speaking evil of father or mother, let him finish (with) death.”
And you say, “Whoever says (to) the(=his) father or the(=his) mother, ‘Whatever you might be benefited from me (is) a gift (to God).’”
“‘He shall(=need) not honor his father or his mother1.’ And you annulled the word of God because of your tradition.”
“Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying
‘This people honors me (with their) lips, but their heart is far from me.’
‘And vainly(=in vain) they worship me, teaching (as) doctrines the commandments of men.’”
And having called the crowd to (him), he said (to) them, “Hear and understand.”
“Not the thing going into the mouth defiles the(=a) man, but the thing coming out of the mouth, this defiles the(=a) man.”
Then having come, the disciples say to him, “Do you know that the Pharisees, having heard the word(=saying), were offended?”
And having answered, he said, “Every plant that my heavenly Father did not planted will be uprooted.”
“Leave them (alone), they are blind guides of the blind. And if a blind (man) leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.”
And having answered, [the] Peter said (to) him, “Explain to us the parable.”
And he said, “Are you also still without understanding?”
“Don’t you understand that everything going into the mouth goes into the stomach, and is cast out into latrine.”
“But the things coming out of the mouth come from the heart, and those(=they) defiles the(=a) man.”
“For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, fornication, thefts, false witnesses, blasphemies.”
“These things is(=are) the things defiling the(=a) man. But to eat with unwashed hands does not defile the(=a) man.”

And behold, a Canaanite woman, having come out of those territories, was crying out, saying, “Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David, my daughter is badly demon-possessed.”
And he did not answer her a word. And having approached, his disciples were asking him, saying, “Send her away, for she is crying out after us.”
And he, having answered, said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of (the) house of Israel.”
And she, having come, was kneeling before(=worshipped) him, saying, “Lord, help me!”
And he, having answered, said, “It is not good to take the bread of the children and to throw to the dogs(# Diminutive to soften its original meaning).”
And she said, “Yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat from the crumbs falling from the table of their masters.”
Then having answered, [the] Jesus said (to) her, “O woman, your faith (is) great. Be it done (to) you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that hour.
And having gone from there, [the] Jesus came along the Sea of Galilee. And having gone up to(=on) the mountain, he was sitting there.
And many crowds came to him, having(=bringing) with themselves the lame, the blind, the maimed, the dumb, and many others. And they laid them down at his feet. And he healed them.

And the disciples say to him, “Where are so many loaves to satisfy(=feed) such a crowd to us in (the) wilderness?”
And [the] Jesus says (to) them, “How many loaves do you have?” And they said, “Seven, and a few fish[es](# Diminutive).
