1 And he showed me a river of water of life, bright(=clear) as crystal, coming out of the throne of [the] God and of the Lamb,
2 in (the) middle of its street, and hence and thence(=on each side) of the river (was) (the) tree of life, bearing twelve fruits, yielding its fruit according to each month. And the leaves of the tree (were) for (the) healing of the nations
3 And there will not be curse anymore. And the throne of [the] God and of the Lamb wil1 be in it, and His slaves will serve(=worship) Him.
4 And they will see His face, and His name (will be) on their foreheads.
5 And night will not be (there) anymore, and they have no need of (the) light of lamp and(=or) (the) light of sun, for (the) Lord [the] God will illuminate on them, and they will reign unto the ages of the ages(=for ever and ever).
6 And he said (to) me, “These words (are) faithful and true. And the Lord, [the] God of the spirits of the1 prophets, sent His angel to show His slaves the things which ought to take place in speed(=soon).”
7 “And behold, I am coming soon. Blessed (is) the one keeping the words of the prophecy of this book.”
8 And I, John, (am) the one hearing and seeing these things. And when I heard and saw (them), I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel showing me these things.
9 And he says(=said) (to) me, “See! Not!(=Do not do it!) I am a fellow slave (with) you and of(=with) your brothers the prophets and of(=with) the ones keeping the words of this book. Worship [the] God!”
10 And he says(=said) (to) me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, because the time is near.”
11 “Let the one doing wrong still do wrong. And let the filthy still be filthy. And let the righteous still do righteousness. And let the holy(=saint) still be sanctified.”
12 “Behold, I am coming soon; and my reward (is) with me, to give each one as his work is(=according to his work).”
13 “I (am) the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”
14 “Blessed (are) the ones washing their robes, so that their authority will be(=they may have the right) to the tree of the life, and (through) the gates they might enter into the city.”
15 “Outside (are) the dogs and the sorcerers and the fornicators and the murderers and the idolaters and everyone loving and making a lie.”
16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify (to) you these things for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, a bright morning star.”
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one hearing say, “Come!” And let the one being thirsty come. Let the one wishing take (the) water of life freely.
18 I testify to everyone hearing the words of prophecy of this book. If anyone [might] adds upon(=to) these things, [the] God will add upon(=to) him the plagues having been written in this book.
19 And if anyone [might] takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, [the] God will take away his part from the tree of life, and from the holy city, (and from) the things having been written in this book.
20 The one testifying these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
