1 And I saw another mighty angel coming down from [the] heaven, (who) having been clothed (with) a cloud. And the rainbow (was) on his head, and his face (was) as(=like) the sun, and his feet (were) as(=like) pillars of fire.
2 And having in his hand a little book having been opened, [and] he set his right foot on the sea, and the(=his) left (foot) on the earth(=land).
3 And he cried (with) a great voice, as when a lion roars. And when he cried, the seven thunders spoke (with) their own voices.
4 And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write. And I heard a voice from [the] heaven, saying, “Seal up the things which the seven thunders spoke, and do not write them.”
5 And the angel whom I saw standing(# perfect as present) on the sea and on the earth(=land) raised his right hand to [the] heaven,
6 and swore in(=by) the One living unto the ages of the ages(=for ever and ever), who created the heaven and the things in it, and the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it, “[that] There will be no more time(=delay),”
7 “but in the days of the voice(=sounding) of the seventh angel, when he may be about to trumpet(=is about to blow his trumpet), even the mystery of God was(=will be) completed, as He preached to His own slaves prophets.”
8 And the voice which I heard from [the] heaven, again speaking(=spoke) with(=to) me and saying(=said), “Go, take the book having been opened in the hand of the angel standing(# perfect as present) on the sea and on the earth(=land).”
9 And I went to the angel, telling him to give me the little book. And he says(=said) (to) me, “Take and eat it. And it will be bitter (to) your stomach, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey.”
10 And I took the little book from the hand of the angel and ate it. And it was in my mouth sweet as honey. And when I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter.
11 And he1 say(=said) (to) me, “It is necessary for you(=You ought) to prophesy again before(=about) many peoples and nations and languages and kings.”
