(=alt.word)  ·  (added word)  ·  [omit]

After these things I looked, and behold, a door having been opened in [the] heaven. And the first voice, which I heard speaking with(=to) me like a trumpet, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you the things which ought to take place after these things.”

Immediately I was in (the) Spirit; and behold, a throne was being set in [the] heaven, and One (was) sitting on the throne.

And the One sitting (was) in appearance(# dative of respect) like a jasper stone and a ruby; and (there was) a rainbow around the throne like an emerald in appearance(# dative of respect).

And around the throne (were) twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw1 twenty-four elders sitting, having been clothes in white garments, and they had2 on their heads golden crowns.

And from the throne come lightnings and voices(=rumblings)3 and peals of thunder. And seven lamps of fire (were) burning before the throne, which are the seven spirits of God.

And before the throne (there was something) as4 a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the middle of the throne and around the throne (were) four living creatures being full of eyes before and behind.

And the first living creature (was) like a lion, and the second living creature (was) like a calf, and the third living creature having(=had) the(=a) face like a man, and the fourth living creature (was) like a flying eagle.

And the four living creatures, one by one(=each) of them having [each] six wings, around and within are(=were) full of eyes. And they have no rest day and night, saying, “Holy, holy, holy, Lord [the] God Almighty, the One was and the One being and the One coming(=who was, and is, and is to come).”

And whenever the living creatures [will] give glory and honor and thanks to the One sitting on the throne, to the One living unto the ages of the ages(=for ever and ever),

the twenty-four elders [will] fall down before the One sitting on the throne, and [will] worship the One living unto the ages of the ages(=for ever and ever), and [will] cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive [the] glory and [the] honor and [the] power, for You created all things, and by Your will they were(=existed) and were created.”
