1 “To the angel of the church in Ephesus write, ‘These things says the one holding the seven stars in his right (hand), (who) walking in the middle of(=among) the seven golden lampstands.’”

2 “I know your works, [and] the labor and your endurance, and that you are not able to tolerate evil one. And you have tested the ones calling themselves apostles and(=but) they are not, and found them liars.”

3 “And you have endurance, and tolerated because of my name, and have not grown weary.”

4 “But I have (this) against you, that you have left your first love.”

5 “Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent, and do the first works. If not, I (will) come (to) you and will remove your lampstand from its place, unless you [might] repent.”

6 “But you have this, that you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.”

7 “Let any one having an ear hear what the Spirit says (to) the churches. To the one overcoming, I will give [him] (the right) to eat from the tree of [the] life, which is in the paradise of [the] God”

8 “And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write, ‘These things says the First and the Last, who was dead and came to life.’”

9 “I know your affliction and the poverty, but you are rich, and (I know) the blasphemy from the ones calling themselves [to be] Jews and they are not, but (are) a synagogue of Satan.”

10 “Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw (some) of you into prison so that you might be tested. And you will have affliction of(=for) ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of [the] life.”

11 “Let the one having an ear hear what the Spirit says (to) the churches. The one overcoming will not be hurt from(=by) the second death.”

12 “And to the angel of the church in Pergamum write, ‘These things says the one having the sharp double-edged sword.’”

13 “I know where you dwell(=live), where the throne of Satan (is). And you hold fast to my name, and did not deny my faith even in the days of Antipas, my faithful martyr(=witness), who was killed among you, where the Satan dwells(=lives).”

14 “But I have a few things against you, that you have there (the ones) holding the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel to eat meats sacrificed to idols and to commit fornication.”

15 “So you also have (the ones) holding to the teaching of the Nicolaitans likewise(=which I hate)1.”

16 “Repent therefore. And if not, I (will) come (to) you soon and will fight against them in(=with) the sword of my mouth.”

17 “Let the one having an ear hear what the Spirit says (to) the churches. To the one overcoming I will give [him] some of manna(# partitive genitive) having been hidden. And I will give him a white stone [and] having been written on the stone a new name, which no one knows except the one receiving (it).”

18 “And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, ‘These things says the Son of God, the one having his eyes like a flame of fire, and his feet like burnished bronze.’”

19 “I know your works, [and] love, [and the] faith, [and the] service, and [the] your endurance. And (I know) your last works (are) more than the first.”

20 “But I have (this) against you, that you allow the woman Jezebel, the one calling herself a prophetess. And she teaches and deceives my slaves to commit fornication and to eat meats sacrificed to idols.”

21 “And I gave her time so that she might repent, and she does not want to repent from(=of) her fornication.”

22 “Behold, I (will) cast her into a bed, and the ones committing adultery with her into great affliction, unless they [will] repent from(=of) her works.”

23 “And I will kill her children in(=with) death, and all the churches will know that I am the one searching kidneys(=minds, !! seat of the affections) and hearts. And I will give to each of you according to your works.”

24 “And I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, who do not have(=hold) this teaching, who have not known the deep things of Satan, as they say, I do not cast(=lay) on you any other burden.”

25 “Only hold fast what you have, until I [might] come.”

26 “And (to) the one overcoming and [the one] keeping my works until (the) end, I will give [him] authority over the nations.”

27 “He will shepherd(=rule) them in an iron rod, as (when) the clay vessels is(=are) shattered, just as I also have received (it) from my Father.”

28 “And I will give him the morning star.”

29 “Let the one having an ear hear what the Spirit says (to) the churches.”
