(=alt.word)  ·  (added word)  ·  [omit]

In many parts(=times) and in many ways of old(=in the past), [the] God, having spoken to the(=our) fathers in(=through) the prophets,

spoke, on(=in) these last days, to us in(=by) (his) Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom He made the created worlds(=universe),

who, being (the) radiance of the(=His) glory and the impress of His substance(=nature), and bearing(=upholding) all things (by) the word of his power, having made purification of the sins, sat in(=on) (the) right (hand) of the greatness(=Majesty) in(=on) high,

having become so much better than the angels, as he has inherited more excellent name than theirs.

For to which of the angels did He ever say, “You are my Son, Today I have begotten you”? And again, “I will be to him [for] a Father and he will be to me [for] a Son”?

And again when He [might] brings the(=His) firstborn into the world, He says, “Let all (the) angels of God worship him.” 7 And, on the one hand, about the angels He says, “The one making(=He makes) his angels winds(=spirits), and his ministers a flame of fire,”

on the other hand, about the Son (He says), “Your throne, O God, (is) for ever and ever, and the scepter of [the] uprightness (is) the scepter of your kingdom.” 9 “You have loved righteousness, and hated lawlessness; therefore [the] God, your God, has anointed you (with the) oil of gladness beyond your companions.”

And (he says), “You, Lord, in the beginning founded the earth, and the heavens are (the) work of your hands;”

“They will perish, but you remain, and they will all wear out like a garment,”

“And like a cloak you will roll them up, and like a garment they will be changed. But you are(=remain) the same, and your years will never end.”

But to which of the angels has He ever said, “Sit at my right (hand) until I might put(=make) your enemies a footstool of your feet”?

Are not all (angels) ministering spirits being sent for service on account of the ones being about to inherit salvation?
