(=alt.word)  ·  (added word)  ·  [omit]

Finally, my brothers, rejoice in (the) Lord. To write the same things (to) you (is) not troublesome to me, but for you (it is) safe.

Watch out (for) the dogs, watch out (for) the evil workers, watch out (for) the mutilation!

For we are the circumcision, the ones worshiping (by the) Spirit of God and boasting(=rejoicing) in Christ Jesus and not trusting(=having confidence) in (the) flesh,

although I also having trust(=have confidence) in (the) flesh. If any other (man) thinks to trust in (the) flesh, I (have) more,

(in) circumcision(=circumcised)1 (on the) eighth day, of (the) race(=the people) of Israel, (of the) tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; according to (the) law, a Pharisee;

as for zeal, persecuting the church; according to (the) righteousness in (the) law, being blameless.

But what things was(=were) gain to me, these I have considered loss for [the] Christ.

But indeed(=what is more) I also consider all things [to be] loss according to(=for) the excellence (of) the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, according to(=for) whom I have suffered (the) loss (of) all things, and I consider (them) rubbish, that I might gain Christ

and might be found in him, not having my righteousness from the law, but the one through faith of(=in) Christ, the righteousness from God (based) on [the] faith;

to know(=that I may know) him and the power of his resurrection and (the) fellowship of his sufferings, being conformed to his death,

if somehow I might attain to the resurrection from (the) dead.

Not that I have already attained, or have already been perfected; but I pursue that I might take hold (of that) for which I have been also taken possession by Christ Jesus.

Brothers, I do not consider myself to have taken hold of it; but one thing (I do), forgetting the things behind and straining forward to the things ahead,

I pursue toward (the) goal for the prize of the upward calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Therefore let us, as many as (are) perfect(=mature), think this (mind); and if you think (about) anything differently, [the] God will reveal this to you.

Only to what we have reached, to walk(=let us keep in line)2 (by) the same (rule).

Brothers, be fellow-imitators of me(=join in imitating me), and observe the ones so walking as you have an example (in) us.

For many walk, of whom I was saying(=said) (to) you often and now I also tell (you even) weeping, (as) the enemies of the cross of Christ,

whose end (is) destruction, whose god (is) the belly, and the(=their) glory (is) in their shame. (They are) the ones thinking the earthly things.

For our citizenship is in heavens, from which we also eagerly wait for (the) Savior, (the) Lord Jesus Christ,

who will transform the body of our humiliation(=our humble body) (that it may be) conformed to the body of his glory, according to the power of the him to be able to(=by which he is able to) subject all things to himself.
