[The] Children, obey your parents in (the) Lord, for this is right.
“Honor your father and mother,” which is (the) first commandment in(=with) promise,
that it might be well with you and you may be long time(=may live long) on the earth.
And, [the] fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but feed them(=bring them up) in discipline and instruction of (the) Lord.
[The] slaves, obey the(=your) lords(=masters) according to flesh with fear and trembling in singleness(=sincerity) of your heart, as to [the] Christ,
not by way of eye-service, as men-pleasers, but as slaves of Christ doing the will of God from (the) soul,
serving with goodwill as to the Lord, and not to men,
knowing that each (man), whatever good he might do, will receive this from (the) Lord, whether (he is) a slave or a freeman.
And [the] lords(=masters), do the same things to them, stopping the threat, knowing that the Lord(=Master) of both them and you is in heavens, and there is no partiality with him.
(For) the rest(=Finally), be strengthened(=strong) in (the) Lord and in the might of his strength.
Put on the whole armor of God, for the you to be able to stand(=so that you can stand) against the methods(=schemes) of the devil,
because the struggle to us(=our struggle) is not against blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual (hosts) of evil in the heavenly (places).
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, so that you might be able to resist in the evil day, and having done all things, to stand.
Stand therefore, having girded your waist in(=with) truth, and having put on breastplate of righteousness,
and having bound under(=having shod) the(=your) feet in(=with) (the) readiness of the gospel of peace,
in(=above) all, taking up the shield of faith, in(=with) which you will be able to quench all the flaming darts of the evil one,
and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,
praying in every time(=always) in (the) Spirit, through(=with) all prayer and petition(=requests), and being watchful to this (end) in(=with) all perseverance and petition for all the saints,
and for me, that word(=utterance) might be given to me, in opening of my mouth(=that I may open my mouth) in(=with) boldness to make known the mystery of the gospel,
for which I am an ambassador in a chain(=chains); that in it I might speak boldly as it is necessary for me to speak.
And that you also may know the things about me (and) what I am doing, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful minister in (the) Lord, will make all things known to you,
whom I have sent (to) you for this very thing(=purpose), that you might know the things about us, and he might encourage your hearts.
Peace (be) to the brothers, and love with faith, from God (the) Father and (the) Lord Jesus Christ.
[The] Grace (be) with all the ones loving our Lord Jesus Christ in immortality.
