For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you [the] Gentiles -
if indeed(=surely) you have heard the dispensation(=administration) of God’s grace having been given to me for you,
that (is), by revelation the mystery was made known to me, as I have written briefly,
to(=by) which you, reading(=when you read), are able to understand my understanding in(=of) the mystery of Christ,
which was not made known to the sons of men (in) other generations as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in (the) Spirit,
(that) the Gentiles to be(=should be) joint-heirs and joint-body and joint-sharers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel,
of which I became a minister according to the gift of [the] God’s grace having been given to me according to the working of his power.
To me, (though I am) the very least of all (the) saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,
and to make all see what is the dispensation(=administration) of mystery having been hidden from(=for) [the] ages in [the] God, the One having created all things,
that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known to the rulers and [to] the authorities in the heavenly places(=heaven) through the church,
according to (the) purpose of the ages(=eternal purpose) which He made in [the] Christ Jesus our Lord,
in whom we have [the] boldness and access in(=with) confidence through [the] faith of(=in) him.
Therefore I ask (you) not to lose heart in(=over) my afflictions for you, which is your glory.
For this reason, I bow my knees before the Father,
from whom every family in heavens and on earth is named,
that He might(=would) grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened (with) power through his Spirit in the inner man,
(that) [the] Christ to dwell(=may dwell) through [the] faith in your hearts; (you who) having been rooted and having been founded(=grounded) in love,
[that you] might(=may) be strong enough to apprehend with all the saints what (is) the width and length and height and depth,
and to know Christ’s love surpassing knowledge; that you might be filled with all the fullness of God.
To the One being able to do beyond all things far more abundantly than we ask or we think, according to the power working in us,
to Him (be) the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus unto all the generations, of the age of ages(=for ever and ever). Amen.
