Then through(=after)1 fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, having taken Titus also.

And I went up according to a revelation. And I laid before them the gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to the ones seeming(=who were of reputation), lest I may run or had run in vain.

But even Titus, the one(=who was) with me, being a Greek, was not compelled to be circumcised.

And (this occurred) because of false brothers secretly brought in, who slipped in to spy on our freedom which we have in Christ Jesus, in order that they will(=might) enslave us,

to whom we did not yield submission (even) for an hour, so that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.

And from the ones seeming to be something – whatever they were, it makes no difference to me; God does not receive face of a man(=shows no partiality) - for the ones seeming added nothing to me.

But on the contrary, having seen that I had been entrusted with the gospel of the uncircumcision(=for the uncircumcised), as Peter (had been entrusted with the gospel) of the circumcision(=for the circumcised),

for the One having worked (in) Peter for (the) apostleship of the circumcision(=to the circumcised) also worked (in) me for the Gentiles.

And having recognized the grace given to me, James and Cephas and John, (who) seeming to be pillars, gave me and Barnabas right (hands) of fellowship, so that we (should go) to the Gentiles and they to the circumcision(=the circumcised).

(They asked) only that we should remember the poor, which (was) the very thing (was) what I was eager to do

But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to (his) face, because he was having been condemned(=to be blamed).

For before the some to come(=before certain men came) from James, he ate(=used to eat) with the Gentiles. But when they came, he was drawing back and was separating(=began to draw back and separate) himself, fearing the ones (who were) of circumcision.

And the remaining(=other) Jews also joined him in his hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was led away by their hypocrisy.

But when I saw that they do not walk straight(=was not acting in line) with the truth of the gospel, I said (to) Cephas before (them) all, “If you, being a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how do you compel the Gentiles to live as Jews?”

We (are) Jews by nature(=birth) and not sinners of the Gentiles;

and knowing that a man is not justified by works of (the) law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might(=may) be justified by faith of Christ and not by works of (the) law, because by works of (the) law not all flesh(=no one) will be justified.

And if we ourselves, seeking to be justified in Christ, were found (to be) sinners, is Christ then a minister of sin? Certainly not!

For if I build again these things that I destroyed, I present myself a transgressor.

For through (the) law I died to (the) law, so that I might live to God.

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I (who) live, but Christ lives in me. And what I now live in (the) flesh (is that) I live by the faith in the Son of God having loved me and [having] given himself for me.

I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness (comes) through (the) law, then Christ died in vain.
