(=alt.word) · (added word) · [omit]
And I decided this (in) myself [the] not to come(=that I would not come) again (to) you in grief.
For if I grieve you, who (is) the one cheering me(=making me glad) but the one being grieved from(=by) me?
And I wrote this very thing, lest I, having come, might have grief from those whom it is necessary for me to rejoice(=who ought to make me rejoice), having confidence(# perfect as present) in you all that my joy is (the joy) of you all.
For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote you through(=with) many tears, not that you should be grieved, but that you should know the love which I have more abundantly for you.
And if anyone has grieved, he has not grieved me, but you all from part(=to some extend), lest I exaggerate (it).
This punishment by the majority is enough for such a one;
so, on the contrary, rather you (ought) to forgive and comfort him, lest such a one might(=may) be overwhelmed (by) the more abundant grief(=excessive sorrow).
Therefore, I urge you to reaffirm (your) love for him.
For I indeed wrote for this (reason), that I might know the proof of you, whether you are obedient in all things.
And whom you forgive anything, I also (forgive). For what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, (has been) for your sake in the presence of Christ,
lest we should be cheated by [the] Satan; for we are not ignorant his schemes.
And having come(=when I came) to [the] Troas for the gospel of Christ, and door’s having been opened(=when a door was opened)1 to me in(=by) the Lord,
I have had no rest (in) my spirit the me not to find(=because I did not find) my brother Titus; but having said farewell to them, I went on to Macedonia.
But thanks (be) to [the] God (who is) always leading us in triumph in [the] Christ and revealing(=spreading) the smell of his knowledge through us in every place.
For we are (the) aroma of Christ to God among the ones being saved and among the perishing ones,
to the ones a smell from death to death and to the others a smell from life to life. And who (is) sufficient for these things?
For we are not, as the(=so) many, peddling the word of God; but as from sincerity, but as from God, we speak before God in Christ.
