1 And after (the) Sabbaths, (at) dawn on the first (day) of the Sabbaths(=week), Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the grave.
2 And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of (the) Lord, having descended from heaven and having come, rolled back the stone and was sitting upon it.
3 And his appearance was as lightening, and his cloth (was) white as snow.
4 And from(=for) fear of him, the watching ones were shaken. And they became as dead (man).
5 And having answered, the angel said (to) the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know(# perfect as present) that you are seeking Jesus having been crucified.”
6 “He is not here, for he has risen as he said. Come, see the place where he was lying(=lay).”
7 “And having gone quickly, tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead. And behold, he goes before you to [the] Galilee. There you will see him. Behold, I told you.”
8 And having gone away quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, they ran to report to his disciples.
9 And behold, Jesus met them, saying, “Hail.” And they, having come, took hold (of) his feet and worshipped him.
10 Then [the] Jesus says (to) them, “Do not be afraid. Go (and) report (to) my brothers that they might go away into [the] Galilee, and there they will see me.”
11 And their going(=when they were going)1, behold, some of the guard, having come into the city, reported (to) the high priests all the things having happened.
12 And having assembled with the elders and having taken counsel, they gave enough silver (to) the soldiers,
13 saying, “Tell that his disciples, having come of(=by) night, stole him our sleeping(=while we were asleep)2.”
14 “And if this might be heard before the governor(=comes to the governor’s ears), we will persuade. And we will make you out of trouble.”
15 And they, having taken the silvers, did as they were instructed. And this saying(=story) has been spread among Jews until today.
16 And the eleven disciples went to [the] Galilee, to the mountain where [the] Jesus directed them.
17 And having seen him, they worshiped (him), but they(=some) doubted.
18 And having come, [the] Jesus said (to) them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on the earth was given to me.”
19 “Therefore, having gone, make disciples (of) all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,”
20 “Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you all the day, until the end of the age.”
