(=alt.word) · (added word) · [omit]
And it came to pass, when [the] Jesus finished these words, he left from [the] Galilee and went into the regions of Judea across the Jordan.
And many crowds followed him, and he healed them there.
And Pharisees came to him, testing him and saying, “[If] Is it lawful (for) a man1 to divorce his wife for any reason?”
And having answered, he said, “Have you not read that the One having created from (the) beginning made them male and female,”
And he said, “For this reason a man will leave the(=his) father and the(=his) mother, and will be joined to his wife, and the two will become [into] one flesh.”
“So they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what [the] God joined together, let man not separate.”
They say to him, “Why then did Moses command to give a certificate of divorce and to divorce her?”
He says (to) them, [that] “Moses allowed you to divorce your wives because of your hardness of heart, but from (the) beginning it was not so.”
And I say (to) you, [that] “Whoever might divorce his wife, not(=except) for marital immorality, and might marry another (woman), commits adultery.”
The disciples say to him, “If such is the case of the man with the(=his) wife, it is better not to marry.”
And he said (to) them, “Not all (men) can accept this word, but (those) to whom it has been given.”
“For there are eunuchs who were born so from mother’s womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs because of the kingdom of heavens. The one being able to accept, let him accept (it).”
Then children were brought to him, that he might put the(=his) hands (on) them and might pray. But the disciples rebuked them.
And [the] Jesus said, “Let the children [to] come to me and do not hinder them. For of such is the kingdom of heavens.”
And having put the(=his) hands on them, he went from there.
And behold, one having come to him said, “Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I might have eternal life?”
And he said (to) him, “Why do you ask me about the good(=what is good)? (Only) One is the good(=what is good). And if you want to go into [the] life, keep the commandments.”
He says (to) him, “Which?” And [the] Jesus was saying, “You shall not murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness.”
“Honor the(=your) father and the(=your) mother. And you shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
The young man says (to) him, “I have observed all these things. What do I still lack?”
[The] Jesus was saying to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your belongings, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heavens, and come, follow me.”
And having heard the word, the young man went away being sad(=sorrowful), for he was having many possessions.
And [the] Jesus said (to) his disciples, “Truly I say (to) you, ‘[that] a rich man will hardly go into the kingdom of heavens.’”
“And again I say (to) you, ‘It is easier (for) a camel to go through (the) eye of a needle than (for) a rich man to go into the kingdom of God.’”
And having heard, the disciples were greatly astounded, saying, “Who then can [to] be saved?”
And having looked at, [the] Jesus said (to) them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things (are) possible.”
Then having answered, [the] Peter said (to) him, “Behold, we have left all things and followed you. What then shall there be to us?”
And [the] Jesus said (to) them, “Truly I say (to) you, ‘[that] you who having followed me, in the regeneration(=new world), when the Son of Man might sit down on (the) throne of his glory, you also will sit on the twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.’”
“And everyone who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields for my name’s sake will receive a hundred times, and will inherit eternal life.”
“But many (who are) first will be last, and (the) last (will be) first.”
