1 Let the brotherly love continue.
2 Do not forget (to show) [the] hospitality, for by this (hospitality) some were unaware of having entertained angels.
3 Remember the prisoners as having been bound with(=as if you were in prison with them), and the ones being mistreated as being yourselves also in (the) body.
4 The marriage (should be) honorable among all, and the marriage bed (should keep) undefiled, for God will judge fornicators and adulterers.
5 The way of life (should be) free from love of money, being content with the things being present(=what you have), for He Himself has said, “I might(=will) never leave you, I might(=will) never forsake you.”
6 So as us to say being courageous(=So we say with confidence), “(The) Lord (is) helper to me, I will not be afraid. What will(=can) man do to me?”
7 Remember the ones leading you, who spoke (to) you the word of God, whose faith imitate(=and imitate their faith), considering the outcome of their way of life.
8 Jesus Christ (is) the same yesterday and today and unto the ages(=for ever).
9 Do not be carried away by various and strange teachings. For (it is) good (for) the heart to be strengthened (by) grace not (by) foods, by which the walking ones(=those who follow that way of life) were not benefited.
10 We have an altar from which the ones serving (at) the tabernacle have no right to eat.
11 For the bodies of animals, whose blood is brought into the Holies(=sanctuary) by the high priest for sins, is(=are) burned outside the camp.
12 Therefore, Jesus also suffered outside the gate, so that he might sanctify the people by the(=his) own blood.
13 So then let us go forth to him outside the camp, bearing his insult.
14 For here we have no continuing(=lasting) city, but we seek the coming(=the city to come).
15 Therefore, through him let us offer a sacrifice of praise through all(=continually) to [the] God, that is, (the) fruit of lips confessing his name.
16 And do not forget the well-doing and sharing(=to do good and to share), for (with) such sacrifices [the] God is pleased.
17 Obey the ones leading you and submit (to them), for they keep watching over your souls as (the ones) giving(# future participle) an account, in order that they may do this with joy and not groaning, for this (is) unprofitable (to) you.
18 Pray for us, for we are persuaded(=sure) that we have a good conscience, desiring to conduct well in all things.
19 More abundantly(=particularly) I urge (you) to do this, in order that I might be restored (to) you soon.
20 And (may) [the] God of peace, the One having brought again from (the) dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by (the) blood of (the) eternal covenant,
21 may equip you(=may make you complete)1 in everything good for the to do(=to do) His will, doing in us2 the thing pleasing before Him(=what is pleasing in His sight), through Jesus Christ, to whom (be) the glory unto the ages of the ages(=for ever and ever). Amen.
22 And I urge you, brothers, bear with the word of exhortation, for I have written you through brief(=briefly).
23 Know our brother, Timothy, having been released(=that our brother Timothy has been set free), with whom I will see you if he comes soon.
24 Greet all the ones leading you and all the saints. The ones from [the] Italy greet you.
