to (the) praise of (the) glory of His grace, of(=by) which He freely bestowed (on) us in the One having been loved,

in whom we have [the] redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of trespasses, according to the riches of his grace

which he lavished for(=on) us in all wisdom and understanding,

having made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which he set before(=purposed) in himself,

for an dispensation(=administration) of the fullness of the times, to sum up [the] all things in [the] Christ, the things on(=in) [the] heavens and the things on the earth; in him,

in whom we were also chosen(=have also obtained an inheritance), having been predestined according to (the) purpose of the One working all things according to the counsel(=intention) of His will,

for the us to be(=that we might be) to(=for) (the) praise of His glory, the ones having hoped before(=who first had hoped) in [the] Christ,

do not stop giving thanks for you, making remembrance(=mentioning) (of you) on(=in) my prayers,

that [the] God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, might(=may) give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in (the) knowledge of Him,

far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and (above) every name being named, not only in this age but also in the coming (age)(=the age to come).
